Acebron Group is a Spanish business group with more than 30 years of experience, specialized in the manufacture and repair of medium and large size components and equipment for energy sector.
We have three main business lines: project manufacturing, serial manufacturing, repair and maintenance.
Our facilities of more than 20,000m2 and highly qualified personnel allow us to internally address the complete manufacturing of our projects including detail engineering, sheet working working, welding, machining, surface treatment(sandblasting, metal spraying and painting), assemblies, testings, three-dimensional measurements and NDT.
We have inhouse state of the art machinery with capacity for machining components of big dimensions in the following processes: horizontal (Ø3.800*8000mm) and vertical CNC lathing (Ø 11.000*3500mm), CNC boring (14.000*4.000*1000mm) and CNC milling (6.000*3.559*1100mm).
We support our customers in the hydro power sector offering the following services:
1. Complete manufacturing of new components, spare parts and equipments for hydroelectric power stations:.
2. Machining of new components of hydraulic turbines.
3. Repair of components including Disassembly & Assembly, Inspections, NDT, 3D Measurements, Cleaning, Sand blasting, Weld Overlay, Welding, Machining, Painting, as well as supply of new parts for Francis, Kaplan and Pelton turbines (guide blades, impeller hub, caps, shrink disk, bushings, bearings, ring, covers,…) and stop logs.
The technical skill of the ACEBRON GROUP is based on TOTAL QUALITY, a corporate philosophy that is applied to all our processes. ACEBRON GROUP has obtained ISO 9001:2015; 45000:2018 and 14001:2015 certifications for all its manufacturing processes by Lloyd´s Register Quality Assurance Ltd.
Our welders are qualified in accordance with several welding requirements and more than 40 welding procedures (EN-287-1:2004, EN ISO 15614-1:2004 / 15609-1:2004, ASME IX, AWS D1.1, DNV-401 etc…).
We are certified according to the standard EN 1090-1:2009 + A1:2011 EXC3 and EN ISO 3834-2:2006.
We adapt to the technical requeriment of the projects of our customers. Our product quality department has an International Welding Engineer (IWE), three Welded Structure Inspectors level 2 and specialist in NDT acccording to the standard UNE-EN-9712:2012.
For the quality control in the surface treatment section we have a coating inspector qualified with the NACE International Certificated (CIP Level 2). Our painters are certified according to the ACQPA and by FROSIO (Norsok 501) .
Our quality verification and monitoring procedures include Three - dimensional measurement using DEA and Laser Tracker.
